Geoff Bowyer, member of The Purple Gang sat down to chat with Co-Director Nick Turner about their riotous cult classic “Granny Takes a Trip” from back in 1967.
The Joe Boyd produced and Sound Techniques recorded song was heralded by John Peel as one of the all time greats of the psychedelic scene in the UK and was famously banned by the BBC for supposedly making reference to LSD in its title.
